Kinkong en adopción Colmenar

European Shorthair · Male · 6 years

Adoption History: A Kinkong and her sisters were abandoned in a village in Madrid. One of her sisters found adopters, but Kinkong, being more timid, went unnoticed and nobody paid attention to him. Slowly, she is gaining more confidence with us and getting bolder in exploring. She gets along well with the other cats, always accompanied by her band of striped friends, and it seems they play a game of "who's who"! They are so alike that sometimes it's hard for us to tell them apart. We wish them luck and hope they find a good home. -36 .gallery-item { border: 2px solid ; -36 .gallery-caption { /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.

-60 .gallery-item { border: 2px solid ; -60 .gallery-caption { /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */

About Kinkong en adopción Colmenar

What life with Kinkong en adopción Colmenar looks like

Kinkong en adopción Colmenar is a medium-sized adult european shorthair cat waiting at FAPAM in Malaga.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kinkong en adopción Colmenar, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kinkong en adopción Colmenar?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. FAPAM handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kinkong en adopción Colmenar on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kinkong en adopción Colmenar if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — FAPAM will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kinkong en adopción Colmenar already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kinkong en adopción Colmenar isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with FAPAM early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kinkong en adopción Colmenar and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
