Wahrscheinlich hat sie ihr gesamtes vorheriges Leben auf der Straße verbracht. Kira W ist eine schüchterne und zurückhaltend Hündin. Unser Besuch im August 2022: Kira W blieb bei unserem Besuch in ihrer Hütte. Sie wollte nur Leckerlis von uns nehmen, wenn wir sie ihr hinlegten. Unser Besuch im Dezember 2021: Als wir Kira W im Dezember 2021 wieder besuchten, haben wir uns sehr gefreut, denn im Vergleich zu unserem letzten Besuch nahm sie Leckerlis direkt aus der Hand und ließ sich sogar etwas an der Schnauze streicheln. Nach wie vor ist sie aber noch sehr zurückhaltend. Wir freuen uns aber über diesen Fortschritt! Unser Besuch im Februar 2020: Als wir Kira W im Februar 2020 besucht haben, lag sie die meiste Zeit auf oder in ihrer Hütte. Sie war sehr schüchtern und ließ sich von uns nicht anfassen. Sie wollte auch die Leckerlis nicht direkt aus der Hand nehmen, fand es aber in Ordnung, wenn die Hand direkt neben dem Leckerli lag. Wichtige Information: Für Kira W suchen wir Menschen, die schon Erfahrung im Umgang mit ängstlichen oder unsicheren Hunden haben und ausreichend Zeit, sowie Geduld haben, um Kira W langsam an ein neues Leben zu gewöhnen. Sicherlich wird sie sich in der ersten Zeit zurückziehen, doch mit etwas Zeit kann man ihr aus ihrem Schneckenhaus helfen, damit sie ihr neues Leben genießen kann. Wenn Kira W merkt, dass sie sich bei ihren Menschen sicher fühlen kann, wird sie sicherlich auch nach einiger Zeit über die Zuneigung und Geborgenheit zu freuen. Nach der langen Zeit im Shelter wird sich die süße Maus ganz bestimmt freuen, wenn sie wieder mehr Abwechslung in ihren Alltag bekommt und auf ihren täglichen Spaziergängen frisches Gras unter den Pfötchen spüren darf.
