Kisköre mama

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 2 years

Kisköre mama is a young, mixed breed female dog born around 2023, who came into our care with her four puppies with the help of the Füzesabonyi animal welfare foundation. The small family came from Kiskörö, they went under the gate, they were very thin. For several weeks they had only eaten garbage, their mother was very thin, she hasn't had milk for a long time. Now they are safe. We carefully feed the mother several times a day, and when her weight is appropriate, she will receive the missing vaccinations and will be spayed before starting the search for a new home. Very friendly, initially shy, which we don't find surprising, as survival has been her life's purpose so far. We would like her never to have to struggle again and finally experience how much happiness and fun there is in life. So far, she has gained several kilograms and has become a friendly, affectionate girl. Kisköre mom, vaccinated, microchipped and after being spayed, can be adopted as a family member, kept indoors.

About Kisköre mama

What life with Kisköre mama looks like

Kisköre mama is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kisköre mama, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kisköre mama?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kisköre mama on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kisköre mama if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kisköre mama already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kisköre mama isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kisköre mama and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
