Kiti on 16-aastane kassiproua, kes on kord juba varjupaigast kodu leidnud ja seal üle kümne aasta mõnusat kassielu elanud. Kahjuks tuli tema omanikul tervislikel põhjustel oma pikaajalisest kodutalust lahkuda ning kassi ei olnud võimalik kaasa võtta. Nii jõudiski ta pärast kõiki neid aastaid taas varjupaika.
