Horse 32

Female · Senior · 10 years

Meet Kitten, a lovely 10-year-old mare who is looking for a loving home where she can be fully herself. Kitten is a sweet mare with a pleasant temperament. She deserves a place where she receives the rest, attention and care she needs: a home where she is appreciated and where her needs are well looked after. Kitten has an injury to her eye, so she needs to wear a fly mask when there is a lot of sunlight. She copes well with this, and with the right care it poses no problem. It is important that her future owner takes this into account and makes sure her eye stays well protected. For Kitten we are looking for a loving home where she can simply be a horse: a place with companions, sufficient space, and people who accept her as she is. An environment where she can safely and carefree enjoy her days. Kitten deserves a good place where she receives the attention and love she so richly deserves. Would you give Kitten her well-earned golden home? Or do you know someone who still has a good place free for this special mare? Please feel free to contact us. Perhaps you are the one who can give Kitten the warm and loving home where she can enjoy many more beautiful years.

About Horse 32

What life with Horse 32 looks like

Horse 32 is a senior horse waiting at Paard zoekt baas in Ambt Delden.

Adopting a horse is a long-term commitment that almost always requires either land or a boarding stable. The shelter will discuss the horse's training level, vet history, and what kind of work or companionship they're suited for. Expect ongoing costs: feed, farrier, vet, and stabling.

🇳🇱Adopting from Netherlands

Paperwork, vet checks and transport rules differ by species and by country. Ask the shelter what is included and what you will need to arrange before you commit.

Frequently asked

Adopting Horse 32, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Horse 32?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Paard zoekt baas handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Horse 32 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Horse 32 if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a horse can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Paard zoekt baas what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Horse 32 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a horse comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Paard zoekt baas directly what is included and what Horse 32 still needs.
What happens if Horse 32 isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Paard zoekt baas early rather than rehoming privately; they know Horse 32 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
