Kitty and Kiki are looking for a home together with outdoor access. The cats are currently in a foster home and can be visited there after prior consultation with the animal shelter. Kitty and Kiki are mother and daughter and have already experienced a lot together. When the two came to the shelter, both had just had a litter of kittens. Meanwhile, all their little ones have moved out and found a new home. Now it's time for Kitty and Kiki to find their own loving home - together, because the two should not be separated. We wish Kitty and Kiki a quiet home with people who give them the time they need to gain trust. At first, they are cautious with new people and need some patience before they can open up. If they feel overwhelmed or pressured, they may react with growling and snarling. However, they only show real defensive behavior if they feel very strongly pressured, for example in stressful situations for them like a vet visit. Whoever gives them the time they need will be rewarded with two very special cats. As soon as Kitty and Kiki have gained trust, they enjoy the closeness of their familiar people and also like to cuddle. After a corresponding acclimatization period, Kitty and Kiki should be allowed to enjoy outdoor access again in their new home. We are therefore looking for a loving and patient home where the two can arrive together and their people can meet them with understanding and calmness. Kitty und Kiki suchen gemeinsam ein Zuhause mit Freigang. Die Katzen leben zurzeit in einer Pflegestelle und können nach vorherigem Gespräch mit dem Tierheim dort besucht werden. Kitty und Kiki sind Mutter und Tochter und haben schon einiges gemeinsam erlebt. Als die beiden ins Tierheim kamen, hatten beide gerade einen eigenen Wurf Kitten. Mittlerweile sind alle ihre Kleinen ausgezogen und haben ein neues Zuhause gefunden. Nun ist es an der Zeit, dass auch Kitty und Kiki ihr eigenes, liebevolles Zuhause finden – und zwar gemeinsam, denn die beiden sollen nicht getrennt werden. Für Kitty und Kiki wünschen wir uns ein ruhiges Zuhause bei Menschen, die ihnen die nötige Zeit geben, Vertrauen zu fassen. Bei neuen Menschen sind die beiden zunächst vorsichtig und brauchen etwas Geduld, bevor sie sich öffnen können. Fühlen sie sich überfordert oder bedrängt, können sie mit Fauchen und Knurren reagieren. Echtes Abwehrverhalten zeigen sie allerdings nur, wenn sie sich sehr stark bedrängt fühlen, beispielsweise in für sie stressigen Situationen wie einem Tierarztbesuch. Wer den beiden die Zeit gibt, die sie brauchen, wird dafür mit zwei ganz besonderen Katzen belohnt. Sobald Kitty und Kiki Vertrauen gefasst haben, genießen sie die Nähe ihrer vertrauten Menschen und lassen sich auch gerne kuscheln. Nach einer entsprechenden Eingewöhnungszeit sollen Kitty und Kiki in ihrem neuen Zuhause wieder Freigang genießen dürfen. Wir suchen daher ein liebevolles und geduldiges Zuhause, in dem die beiden gemeinsam ankommen dürfen und ihre Menschen ihnen mit Verständnis und Ruhe begegnen.
