Klara is still a young female dog. Of course, she still has ideas in her head and likes to test her humans out. At 1.5 years old, she is in the middle of puberty. As a herding dog, she should be placed in a home that suits her. A home on the countryside is sought – with a beautifully fenced, large garden and/or a large yard where Klara can observe the surroundings and fulfill her herding instinct. Klara needs sovereign, experienced people who understand her and cater to her needs. She prefers to stay mostly outdoors, vigilantly watching the property and reliably showing when visitors come or strangers pass by. One should thoroughly familiarize themselves with the characteristics of this breed and carefully consider whether the dog fits into the personal environment. Herding dogs are not city or office dogs. Therefore, a large property that she can guard would be ideal. Since the territory of a herding dog extends as far as they can see, the property should be securely fenced to convey clear boundaries to her. It would be wonderful if Klara found a loving home in the countryside where she can feel comfortable in nature and also with other dogs. We do not see Klara with children, as they would greatly unsettle her. We wish for people who understand her, can correctly assess her behavior, and take her by the paw to create a beautiful dog life together. Herding dogs are independent personalities that require the owner to have consistency and empathy, as well as the willingness to deal with an intelligent, independent, large dog. They bring many wonderful qualities. People who already have experience with herding dogs often do not want another breed, as they – despite their stubbornness – are very loyal and faithful companions. Klara will only be rehomed to experienced people who already have herding dog experience. Our Klara is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Unsere große Zuckerschnute Klara, eine aufgeweckte, groß gewachsene Maremmen-Pyrenäen-Berghund-Hündin, ist auf der Suche nach einem neuen Zuhause. Klara ist noch eine junge Hündin. Natürlich hat sie noch Flausen im Kopf und testet sehr gerne ihre Menschen aus. Mit 1,5 Jahren steckt sie mitten in der Pubertät. Da Klara ein Herdenschutzhund ist, sollte sie dementsprechend auch das passende Zuhause bekommen. Für sie wird ein Zuhause auf dem Land gesucht – mit einem schön eingezäunten, großen Garten und/oder einem großen Hof, wo Klara die Umgebung beobachten und ihren Herdenschutzhundtrieb ausleben darf. Klara braucht souveräne, erfahrene Menschen, die sie verstehen und auf ihre Bedürfnisse eingehen. Sie hält sich überwiegend gerne draußen auf, bewacht aufmerksam das Grundstück und zeigt zuverlässig an, wenn Besuch kommt oder Fremde am Grundstück vorbeigehen. Man sollte sich im Vorfeld intensiv mit den Eigenschaften einer solchen Rasse auseinandersetzen und gut überlegen, ob der Hund in das persönliche Umfeld passt. Herdenschutzhunde sind keine Stadt- oder Bürohunde. Ideal wäre daher ein großes Grundstück, das sie bewachen kann. Da das Territorium eines Herdenschutzhundes so weit reicht, wie er schauen kann, sollte das Grundstück sicher eingezäunt sein, um ihr klare Grenzen zu vermitteln. Es wäre wunderbar, wenn Klara ein liebevolles Zuhause in ländlicher Umgebung finden würde, wo sie sich in der Natur und gerne auch mit anderen Hunden wohlfühlen kann. Kinder sehen wir bei Klara nicht, da sie diese zu sehr verunsichern.
