Kofi is one of the puppies rescued from a military base in Constanta, where he and his brothers were found and fed by the soldiers there. When people started complaining about the presence of the puppies, the soldiers asked for our help, and we took in the entire family of dogs. Kofi has a strong personality, being the most "adult" among his brothers. From the beginning, he stood out by wanting to keep his space and moments of peace, which sometimes made him a bit authoritarian towards the other dogs. Although he may seem a bit dominant in his behavior, Kofi is actually a dog who seeks security and stability. Although he has an independent nature, Kofi loves the company of people and is extremely affectionate when he feels comfortable. He likes to be petted, but he doesn't want to be manipulated at any time, preferring to keep his moments of exploration and reflection. Kofi will need a family that offers support and allows him to maintain his independence, but also offers the affection he needs. The ideal home for Kofi: If there are other dogs in the house, it is important that they are balanced and capable of understanding Kofi's behavior, which can sometimes be exuberant and unsure at first. With a gentle introduction and support, Kofi can live in harmony with other dogs, and an adult dog would have a lot to teach this young pup. For now, we don't recommend that Kofi live with children, but he could live well with responsible and well-behaved teenagers.
