Kogle

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Kitten · 3 months

Kogle is back from foster care where she stayed with momma cat Bregne and the rest of the troll litter. Foster mom says about Kogle: Kogle has been a single girl with her four brothers, which has made her have to run fast from the start and she has done it fantastically. She can be a cautious cat at first and pull back a bit, but once the toys are out, she will show what she can do. Kogle has really good speed in her paws and can be a bit of a boss, so don't let the calm first impression fool you. Kogle quickly goes from calm to turbo-fly mode when she's comfortable. Kogle is a cat you have to invest time and desire in before she feels comfortable, but she really wants to see the world, she just needs to take it one paw at a time. She found her voice late, but has become really good at making herself heard when food is served too slowly. Kogle loves all kinds of toys and she's looking forward to being outside in the long run. Kogle gets along really well with Kvist and Humle, so one of the two brothers would be great to go out with.

DA·Show original

About Kogle

What life with Kogle looks like

Kogle is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at Kattens Vaern in Kattens Vaern.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇰Adopting from Denmark

Danish shelters follow EU pet passport rules and require an adoption contract. Animals are chipped, vaccinated, and sterilized before placement.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kogle, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kogle?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Kattens Vaern handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kogle on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kogle if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Kattens Vaern will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kogle already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kogle isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Kattens Vaern early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kogle and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DA). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
