Adopt koshenya Sonya (кошеня Соня)

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten

Sonya, Sonечka - 8 month old kitten that came to animal shelter under the sterilization program for foster care along with her sister Laska. The sisters were planned to be returned and they are so tame and helpless that we couldn't bring ourselves to return them and decided to look for a family for her. Sonya is spayed and vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms. She uses the litter box perfectly. The little one gets sick and gets stressed in the cage, always trying to escape - it's understandable, kittens should play and cuddle on laps, not lose their childhood in a small cage. Sonечka is very tame, gentle and kind girl, although sometimes still a little shy - she is looking for her family! Kittens on the street are doomed to hunger and cold, don't let Sonya return to where no child belongs, where no one belongs at all!

About koshenya Sonya (кошеня Соня)

What life with koshenya Sonya (кошеня Соня) looks like

koshenya Sonya (кошеня Соня) is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Happy Paw Kyiv in Ukraine.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇺🇦Adopting from Ukraine

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting koshenya Sonya (кошеня Соня), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about koshenya Sonya (кошеня Соня)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Happy Paw Kyiv handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw koshenya Sonya (кошеня Соня) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt koshenya Sonya (кошеня Соня) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Happy Paw Kyiv will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is koshenya Sonya (кошеня Соня) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if koshenya Sonya (кошеня Соня) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Happy Paw Kyiv early rather than rehoming privately; they know koshenya Sonya (кошеня Соня) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (UK). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
