Kotofey was found on a vacant lot near Marina Reshetieva’s shelter. The kitten urgently needed help: he was severely dehydrated, had a large, open, purulent wound measuring about 5–6 cm on the posterior lateral side of his abdominal cavity, and also showed signs of feline herpesvirus infection. Currently, Kotofey is undergoing examinations and treatment at a veterinary clinic. He’s hospitalized and receiving intravenous fluids, and has already started the necessary medical treatment. According to preliminary estimates by the veterinarians, he’ll need another week to a week and a half of inpatient care to stabilize his condition and regain his strength. The estimated cost of treatment is 10,000 UAH. We’d be sincerely grateful for any assistance you can provide for Kotofey. Every contribution brings him one step closer to recovery and a chance at a new, happy life. ❤️🐾

Хлопчик потребував термінової допомоги: він був сильно зневоднений, мав велику відкриту гнійну рану розміром близько 5–6 см у задній боковій частині черевної порожнини, а також ознаки герпесвірусної інфекції котів. Наразі Котофей проходить обстеження та лікування у ветеринарній клініці. Він знаходиться на стаціонарі під крапельницями та вже розпочав необхідне лікування. За попередніми прогнозами лікарів, йому знадобиться ще близько 1–1,5 тижня стаціонарного догляду, щоб стабілізувати стан і набратися сил. Орієнтовна вартість лікування становить 10 000 грн.
