Kraczek

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 2 years

Kraczek - male cat found on Krakowska Street. Uses a litter box. He is currently in treatment. Adopting a kitten, you must remember that contrary to the common belief, raising such a small animal is not at all the easiest. We do not recommend adopting kittens to a home where there are small children. Kittens are just learning how hard they can use their claws and teeth, which often results in scratches and injuries. This is the most common reason for returns from adoption. In the case of such young animals, you must be prepared to learn everything from the basics. Kittens are exceptionally energetic, they can destroy furniture, curtains, etc. Remember that a cat can live up to even 20 years, so when you take a kitten, you must be prepared to be responsible for it for a very long time. Kittens usually instinctively use a litter box, but it must be remembered that in some cases, work may be needed to learn how to use it. Remember that kittens, due to the lack of full vaccinations, are the highest risk group - they can fall ill, and the initial symptoms of the illness may be asymptomatic. Date of birth: ~26.04.2026 We inform that each animal can be virtually adopted. To obtain information about this, please contact us by email (or through our Facebook profile:). More information about the animal can be obtained by contacting the animal shelter office at our area. For adoption of a dog, a driver's license, leash, and collar are required. For adoption of a cat, a driver's license and a carrier are required. All dogs and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, and vaccinated against contagious diseases. Dogs are also vaccinated against rabies. Adult animals can be sent to a new home after the neutering/spaying procedure is performed. Kittens and puppies leave the animal shelter without the procedure, but they are guaranteed a free spaying/neutering at the appropriate age. The age of the dog/cat is determined based on the condition of the teeth and overall appearance, so it should be considered an approximate value. Adoption IS FREE OF CHARGE. THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF TRANSPORT - WARSAW, KRAKÓW, WROCLAW, POZNAŃ, KATOWICE, ŁÓDŹ, LUBLIN or other cities upon agreement. KRACZEK - kocurek znaleziony na ul. Krakowskiej. Korzysta z kuwetki. About Kraczek

What life with Kraczek looks like

Kraczek is a small young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kraczek, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kraczek?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kraczek on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kraczek if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kraczek already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kraczek isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kraczek and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
