Król Maciuś

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 2 years

Maciuś is an extremely outgoing and affectionate little dog who loves people and would rather not leave their side. He follows his owner like a shadow, snuggles up, asks for pats and is eager to make contact. He is gentle, delicate and a bit uncertain, but very open to closeness. ❤️ He walks nicely on a leash, likes other dogs, although their sight causes him a lot of emotions. He also has a lot to say, but he doesn't bark, he sings - he's a little whiner 😆 He gives the impression of a dog who knows domestic life. He is sensitive, thirsty for contact and just wants to be close to people. We are looking for a home for King Maciuś, where someone will love his affection, emotionality and all his little chats. 👑❤️ 💌 Interested in adoption please fill out the pre-adoption questionnaire.

About Król Maciuś

What life with Król Maciuś looks like

Król Maciuś is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Celestynowie in Celestynów.

A young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adopters usually cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Król Maciuś, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Król Maciuś?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Celestynowie handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Król Maciuś on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Król Maciuś if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Celestynowie will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Król Maciuś already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Król Maciuś isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Celestynowie early rather than rehoming privately; they know Król Maciuś and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
