Adopt KROPEK

Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 9 years

Ur. ok. 2017 Waga 12 kg Gmina ŁOWICZ neutering TAK Inne psy TAK KROPEK – a quiet hero who dreams of a real home 🐾 KROPEK is a little dog who has been through more than anyone should. He ended up at the animal shelter after being severely bitten by other dogs. His body was scarred, and his eyes full of fear. Today, the physical wounds are just memories – KROPEK has fully recovered, but there is still a longing for safety and human closeness in his eyes. Despite his difficult past, KROPEK hasn't lost what is most beautiful – his gentleness and kindness. This is a calm, friendly, and completely non-aggressive dog. He approaches new people gently, as if to make sure no one will hurt him again. In the company of other dogs, he does very well – he is submissive, doesn't seek conflicts, quite the opposite – he readily follows a canine companion. KROPEK (ur. ok. 2017, waga ok. 12 kg) is still learning to walk on a leash.

To pies spokojny, przyjazny i całkowicie pozbawiony agresji.

About KROPEK

What life with KROPEK looks like

KROPEK is a senior mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne in 99-423.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting KROPEK, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about KROPEK?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw KROPEK on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt KROPEK if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is KROPEK already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if KROPEK isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne early rather than rehoming privately; they know KROPEK and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
