Mrs. Daria called asking for help. She found a small kitten by the highway looking like a victim of a traffic accident. We took him to the clinic. It turned out it was not an accident. Someone shot the kitten with a shotgun and the pellets were lodged near the spine. Because of this the kitten had no feeling in his back legs and due to nerve damage he has problems urinating. The doctors classified Xawery for euthanasia, but we felt sorry for this energetic and life-loving animal. We took him to a temporary home. We have to express him twice a day to remove the urine from the bladder. But Ksawery is alive and happy.

Znalazła przy szosie małego kociaka wyglądającego jak ofiara wypadku komunikacyjnego. Przyjęliśmy go do lecznicy. Okazało się, że to nie był wypadek. Ktoś postrzelił kociaka z wiatrówki i śrut utkwił w okolicach kręgosłupa. Z tego powodu kociak nie miał czucia w tylnych łapkach oraz w wyniku uszkodzenia nerwu ma problem z wydalaniem moczu. Lekarze zakwalifikowali Xawerego do eutanazji, ale nam się żal zrobiło tego pełnego energii i woli życia zwierzaka. Przyjęliśmy go do domu tymczasowego.
