Adopt Kuddels & Snickers

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 1 year

Kuddels & Snickers (born around May 2025) came to our foster home in 91257 Pegnitz as part of a trapping action in Weidenberg. Once these two lovable brothers overcome their initial shyness, they become two wonderful companions that you won't want to be without. To win the favor of the tigers, a tiny valerian pillow works best; you just need to have touched it: suddenly, even previously unfamiliar people are chosen as new friends. After a few days of getting to know each other better, you finally reach the highest and most important level (and thus understand the name "Kuddels"): this cuddly tomcat hugs you while snuggling! Even Snickers wants to be very close to the person and snuggles closely against their face. If you would like to meet the brother pair, you should call.

About Kuddels & Snickers

What life with Kuddels & Snickers looks like

Kuddels & Snickers is a young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Tierhilfe Weidenberg und Umgebung e.V. in Germany.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kuddels & Snickers, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kuddels & Snickers?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierhilfe Weidenberg und Umgebung e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kuddels & Snickers on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kuddels & Snickers if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierhilfe Weidenberg und Umgebung e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kuddels & Snickers already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kuddels & Snickers isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierhilfe Weidenberg und Umgebung e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kuddels & Snickers and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
