Neue Situationen und Veränderungen verunsichern ihn schnell, weshalb er Menschen braucht, die Verständnis für seine besondere Art haben und keine schnellen Fortschritte erwarten. Kurt benötigt viel Zeit, um Vertrauen aufzubauen, und entscheidet selbst, wann er Nähe zulassen möchte. Er lässt sich nicht gerne anfassen und zieht sich bei Unsicherheit lieber zurück.
