Kylie

Female · Adult · 5 years

Kylie, 6 years old, medium size. Kylie has been searching for her forever family for years. Kylie is a beautiful Beldi female dog, about 6 years old, who spent the early part of her life surviving on the streets of Marrakech. Mistreated in her neighborhood and left to fend for herself, she nonetheless found the strength to keep moving forward. After her rescue and her TNVR (trap-neuter-vaccinate-return), we chose to keep her with us. Today, she has been living by our side for more than 4 years. Over time, Kylie has revealed herself to be an exceptional dog. Very resourceful, intelligent and observant, she understands quickly and learns fast. She has a true pack leader's character and a natural presence, and she is also a very good guardian. She watches over her loved ones with loyalty and seriousness. But behind this confidence lies a deeply endearing dog. Kylie is affectionate, loves being looked after, and can spend hours being brushed. She adores napping. She enjoys human contact, forms beautiful bonds, and appreciates moments of sharing with children. Accustomed to life in a group, she gets along with dogs, cats, children and even farm animals. She has a good recall and knows how to listen when given a clear framework. Kylie will need a family able to offer her fair, consistent and reassuring upbringing. Like many dogs who have had to survive alone, she thrives fully when she understands her place and can rely on trustworthy humans. With guidance and kindness, she will become a faithful, protective and incredibly loving companion. For years, Kylie has been waiting for someone to finally look at her with the gaze that will change everything. She, too, deserves to know the gentleness of a home and the love of a family forever.

About Kylie

What life with Kylie looks like

Kylie is a medium-sized adult dog waiting at Nos Amis Pour La Vie Europe in France.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kylie, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kylie?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Nos Amis Pour La Vie Europe handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kylie on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kylie if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Nos Amis Pour La Vie Europe will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Kylie already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kylie isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Nos Amis Pour La Vie Europe early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kylie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
