La petite Bria

Female · Puppy · 4 months

Bria is a young, loving dog. She enjoys walks, exploring the world, sleeping, and cuddling with her humans. She is playful, curious, and affectionate, and loves to spend time with the people around her. She loves to play, search for sticks, and chase after the ball. She is still learning about cats, so introductions will need to be gradual and in good conditions. A gentle, patient, and positive approach to training will help her become a well-balanced and confident dog. Like all puppies, she still has much to learn. Her future home will need to be ready to gently and consistently support her as she learns and grows. She needs to gradually discover the world around her, including sounds, places, people, animals, and all the small things that will be part of her daily life. These new experiences must be adapted to her age and pace. With proper guidance, they will help her gain confidence and become a well-adjusted dog. She will learn basic commands, such as potty training, recall, walking on a leash, and basic obedience, gradually. This will require patience and consistency. Accidents and mistakes are part of her learning process, and she does not do them to annoy you! Socialization is an important stage in a puppy's life. She needs to meet different people, discover her environment, and, when conditions are right, learn to interact with other animals. The goal is to provide her with positive experiences without overwhelming her. Respecting her pace and accompanying her gently will help her grow serenely. She needs a reassuring framework with simple, clear, and consistent rules. No need for yelling or violence: positive reinforcement, patience, and trust are the best allies for her education. Even though she is still small, she needs to play, expend energy, sniff, and explore her environment. But she also needs to learn to relax and respect her rest periods. Sleep is essential for a puppy's development: a tired puppy is not necessarily a happy puppy! She will need a family that is available, patient, and ready to continue her education with kindness. In return, we can build a beautiful relationship based on trust, complicity, and love. So, if you are ready to accompany me on this great adventure, I am ready to discover life by your side. In return, I promise a lifetime of cuddles, games, and probably some missing socks! 🐾 Keep in mind before adoption: - Compatibility with dogs: very good. - Compatibility with humans: excellent. - Compatibility with cats: still unknown. - Personality: playful, curious, and affectionate. - Training: to be continued with patience, kindness, and positive reinforcement. - Needs: play, exploration, stimulation, socialization, and plenty of rest. - Adoption: a long-term commitment to support my development and education.

About La petite Bria

What life with La petite Bria looks like

La petite Bria is a puppy dog waiting at Association Quatre Pattes, Un Toit in Saint-Sauveur.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

Frequently asked

Adopting La petite Bria, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about La petite Bria?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Association Quatre Pattes, Un Toit handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw La petite Bria on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt La petite Bria if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Association Quatre Pattes, Un Toit will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is La petite Bria already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if La petite Bria isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Association Quatre Pattes, Un Toit early rather than rehoming privately; they know La petite Bria and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
