Labubu

Mixed Breed · Female · Senior · 9 years

Labubu came to us from the Sarkadi municipal pound. She has a gentle nature and is in need of love and improvement, but we already adore her: Labubu, a beautiful but no longer tiny, mixed breed female, born around 2017. Initial veterinary examinations revealed that she is heartworm positive, and her teeth need to be cleaned and her drooling jaws put right. Labubu is seeking human companionship, she snuggles, licks, and demands attention. Now she knows that love will be extended to her. She still needs to learn to walk on a lead, but she is surprisingly clever and sensible. She will soon feel comfortable walking and exploring the world as the best dog she can be. She is a real sweetie, a brave companion if you give her a little time and lots of love. Labubu’s eye and jaw surgery, neutering, and heartworm treatment will begin soon, so we hope to place her in a loving home after that.

Labubu a Sarkadi gyepmesteri telepről érkezett hozzánk.

About Labubu

What life with Labubu looks like

Labubu is a small senior mixed breed dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

Note from the shelter: Heart worm positive, eye tumor, dental issues requiring surgery

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Labubu, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Labubu?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Labubu on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Labubu if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Labubu already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Labubu isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know Labubu and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
