Lady & Malt came into our care having been found as strays. Lady is still building confidence with the world and can be worried by new people, she will need her family to be patient and understanding and allow her to build trust in her own time. Malt is the more confident of the two and while she can be shy when meeting people, soon comes around. She enjoys having fuss and cuddles and likes working out foody puzzles. The girls are happy to spend time apart in their foster home but Lady will take Malt’s lead and they like to snuggle up together on the sofa of an evening and will sleep in the same bed at night. Lady & Malt are a sweet duo looking for a home together. Lady is a 3yr old Miniature Schnauzer and Malt is a 3yr old Poodle crossbreed. They would like to be the only pets in their new home, once settled, would benefit from having some calm canine friends to socialise with and build confidence. Lady is a timid girl and can be worried by handling, she gains confidence from being around Malt but will need time and patience to help her settle into her new home and build bonds with her new family, because of this, they are looking for an adult only home. Lady & Malt would like their own secure garden to provide a safe space to explore and play. Once settled in their new home, leaving hours could be introduced at a pace they are comfortable with.
