Lagrimita is a black and white cat who was voluntarily surrendered by her owners because her behaviour changed when another kitten arrived in the house. Until then, Lagrimita had been the only cat, very attached to her owner and accustomed to a stable environment. Her arrival at the shelter has meant too many changes in too short a time: going from being the only cat in the house to having another kitten in the home and now sharing space with other cats, losing her human reference point and adapting to a completely new environment. All this has caused her to be very stressed at the moment. She does not tolerate the presence of other cats and is very wary of people, not allowing herself to be stroked for now. We are confident that, with time, Lagrimita will be able to assimilate her new situation and gradually begin to open up, but there is no doubt that she is a cat who needs to be the only one, without other cats around her.
