A Laika foi entregue no abrigo pela sua dona, que já não a consegue cuidar devido a problemas de saúde. É uma situação muito triste, pois estava com a Laika desde que era uma cachorrinha. A Laika é meiga mas não gosta de ser contrariada e pode morder. É preciso saber lidar com ela. É sociável com outros cães, mas prefere sem dúvida ser filha única. Sabemos que está habituada a viver com gatos. A Laika está habituada a viver numa casa e anda bem à trela. Será entregue vacinada, desparasitada, esterilizada e com microchip.
