Lajomizse Laborc

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 1 year

A help request arrived from Lajosmizse, where an elderly owner passed away and a mother dog was left with six puppies (2 female and 4 male) without care. A neighbor visited to feed them, but a permanent solution was needed. The large Lajosmizse family includes about 2024 born mixed breed puppies who are expected to join the large dog group as their mother is also a large dog. For now, they are timidly getting to know the big world, but it's clearly visible that they like it. So far, their mother took care of them, but it's time for them to continue growing up in a family. Their current size will change significantly, so in case of adoption, it must be considered whether the living space intended for them will be suitable in the future as well. We would like the family to be active members and take care of them as family members until the end of their lives. We have started their vaccination program, and we will continue it, microchipping and neutering obligations, which must be done by the specified time and we check this very strictly! Puppies are given to family members within Budapest and a 30 km radius.

A népes Lajosmizse családunk kb. 2024. születésű keverék kiskutyák akik várhatóan a nagytestű kutyák táborát fogják erősíteni, hiszen mamájuk is nagytestű. About Lajomizse Laborc

What life with Lajomizse Laborc looks like

Lajomizse Laborc is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Note from the shelter: Requires spaying/neutering commitment with strict monitoring

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lajomizse Laborc, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lajomizse Laborc?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lajomizse Laborc on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lajomizse Laborc if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lajomizse Laborc already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lajomizse Laborc isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lajomizse Laborc and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
