Santino, "the marqués" for friends, is a very elegant Podenco hound. He's always basking in the sun and posing. He's good with other dogs and loves to play (and win, of course). He's very particular about his food, having to smell it and make sure it's to his liking before savoring it leisurely. At first, he's wary and fearful of people, thinking they're all common folk, but with time, he'll let you serve him. He prefers the rural life to the urban one, as there's "too much riffraff" in the pipicanes, according to him.

Santino, "el marqués" para los amigos, es un podenco muy elegante. Siempre está tomando el sol y haciendo postureo. Es apto con otros perros y le gusta mucho jugar (y ganar, claro). Es muy delicado con la comida, ya que ha de olerla y asegurarse de que es de su gusto antes de saborearla sin prisas. Al principio es desconfiado y temeroso con las personas, ya que todos le parecen vulgares, pero con el tiempo te dejará servirle. Prefiere la vida campestre a la urbanita, ya que en los pipicanes "hay mucha chusma", según él.
