LARO

Spanish Mastiff · Male · Puppy · 2 months

LARO LOOKS FOR A FAMILY There are glances that disarm you silently, and then there's Laro's. Laro is a beautiful puppy born on July 1, 2026, so he just turned two months old. He still has a whole life to start and we are looking for the family with whom he can grow, learn, and become an inseparable companion. He has a beautiful coat in sand and gray tones, a dark snout, droopy ears, and those white paws that seem to have been dipped in a paint can. His sweet and curious expression says it all: he is still discovering the world. Like any puppy, Laro will need a family aware of what it means to adopt a little one: education, patience, time, care, and commitment for his entire life. We're not just looking for a home for him, we're looking for his home. The one from which he won't have to leave again. If you were thinking of adding a puppy to your family and can offer him everything he needs, maybe Laro was waiting precisely for you. Will you help him find his happy ending? If you can't adopt, share Where every bark finds a home. Adoption questionnaire: Become a Teamers: WhatsApp: (messages only) Email: More info: linktr.ee/catydogasociacion

About LARO

What life with LARO looks like

LARO is a large puppy/kitten spanish mastiff dog waiting at Catydog Asociación in Spain.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting LARO, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about LARO?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Catydog Asociación handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw LARO on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt LARO if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Catydog Asociación will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is LARO already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if LARO isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Catydog Asociación early rather than rehoming privately; they know LARO and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
