Lassie vient d’arriver au refuge avec ses deux compagnons d’infortune, Roucky et Rox. Tous les trois ont été pris en charge à la suite d’une enquête. Ils vivaient dans une voiture, se nourrissaient de pain et connaissaient des conditions de vie particulièrement difficiles… Pour le moment, elle reste très distante avec notre équipe et ne se laisse pas encore approcher. L’humain semble encore trop impressionnant pour elle, et nous respectons son besoin de garder ses distances. Il lui faudra certainement davantage de temps pour se détendre, prendre confiance et comprendre qu’elle est désormais en sécurité. Lassie aura besoin de personnes capables de comprendre ses peurs et de lui laisser le temps de s’ouvrir, petit à petit, à une nouvelle vie. Derrière cette grande méfiance se cache une chienne qui n’attend que de découvrir la douceur d’un foyer. À nous de lui laisser le temps d’y croire.
