Leevi ist vermittelt

Unknown · Adult · 8 years

Leevi is a white-black Dalmatian male dog born on 11.12.2018 and neutered on 18.03.2026: Leevi has experienced a lot in the past few months, including holidays, moving to a farm complex, and the horses are there too. His first boat ride was a nervous experience for him :-). The follow-up check was totally enjoyed by him and his family. On 09.06.2025: Leevi now weighs over 27 kg and has also bravely made it through his first camping trip, but he is happy to be back on the familiar couch. On 12.01.2025: When Leevi was at 22.12.2025, we were all shocked by his emaciated condition. He weighed around 20 kg. The pictures speak for themselves. Leevi immediately settled in and felt comfortable with the Dalmatian dog Cookie and the JRT Clärchen. Fortunately, he quickly gained weight, and after Christmas, at the vet, he was anxious but the scale showed already 22 kg. As fate would have it, the new owners were exactly the right ones for him, as they can also take excellent care of him. Leevi found a loving, understanding, but also consistent home. On 12.11.2024: Leevi came to his owner as a puppy, who now studies in Sweden and cannot be fair to him. He is typically Dalmatian, reserved with strangers at first. Once he warms up, he is the lap dog and never gets enough cuddles. He needs his individual space and will show with barking that he does not want to be bothered. Leevi has enjoyed basic obedience training and works happily with his owner (nose work, search games, jogging) and pays attention to him. He remains problem-free with his cat when alone. As the typical insecure candidate, he tends to bark on the leash and needs to be led. In encounters in the open, he is initially tense. He knows the city and with it, restaurant visits, public transportation. He should be lovingly but consistently led, as he likes to discuss certain aspects. On the way to the car, he is happy and whines sometimes, on the way back, he is calm and relaxed. Leevi is not a dog for smaller children, from the beginning of teenage age, he knows them. Therefore, he is urgently in need of a new home or foster home.

Pflegestelle.

Leevi ist vermittelt is a adult dog waiting at SOS-Dalmatinerrettung e.V. in Neustad.

Frequently asked

Adopting Leevi ist vermittelt, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Leevi ist vermittelt?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SOS-Dalmatinerrettung e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Leevi ist vermittelt on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Leevi ist vermittelt if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SOS-Dalmatinerrettung e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Leevi ist vermittelt already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Leevi ist vermittelt isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SOS-Dalmatinerrettung e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Leevi ist vermittelt and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
