Adopt Leïa et Zammis

Mixed Breed · Unknown

To adopt Situation: In foster care Birth: - 2020 Gender: Male + Female Breed: Cornish Rex Coat: Color: Siamoisé✔ Neutered✔ Identified✔ VaccinatedTested FIV ➖, FeLV ➖Ideal environment: - House or large apartment- No other cat Leïa and Zammis were taken in by the association in 2020 when they were kittens. They were adopted by their foster family who recently passed away. Leïa et Zammis are Cornish Rex Seal Point (not registered with LOOF). They are not completely hairless but still need warmth. For this they need to snuggle into soft stuffed animals or your sweater. Zammis would be a good candidate for a backpack! To maintain their body heat they need to eat more than a cat with fur, with a preference for small mousses or pouches since their full dental extraction. Zammis is a real clingy, talkative, often underfoot, seeking contact and needing to explore everywhere. Leïa is more discreet and both are true loves, very gentle and affectionate. In their adoptive family they had access to a small garden, a balcony would be enough for them. Zammis especially needs space. ❤ I would like to adopt Leïa et Zammis 📜 Read our adoption procedures here. LEÏA: ZAMMIS: Together we keep warm.

Zammis a surtout besoin d’espace.

About Leïa et Zammis

What life with Leïa et Zammis looks like

Leïa et Zammis is a large adult mixed breed cat waiting at Chats du Parisis in Montigny-lès-Cormeilles.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Leïa et Zammis, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Leïa et Zammis?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Chats du Parisis handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Leïa et Zammis on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Leïa et Zammis if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Chats du Parisis will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Leïa et Zammis already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Leïa et Zammis isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Chats du Parisis early rather than rehoming privately; they know Leïa et Zammis and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
