Leia

Male · Kitten · 3 months

Leïa (female) and Zammis (male) were taken in by the association in 2020 when they were kittens. They were adopted by their family, unfortunately, who passed away recently. Leïa and Zammis are of the Cornish Rex Seal Point type (not registered with LOOF). They are not completely hairless but still need warmth. For this, they need to snuggle into cozy, well-lined plushies or your sweater. Zammis would be a good candidate for a backpack! To maintain their body heat, they need to eat more than a long-haired cat, with a preference for small mouses or pouches since their full dental extraction. Zammis is a real clingy one, talkative, often in your legs, in need of contact, and who needs to explore everywhere. Leïa is more discreet, and both are true loves, very soft and affectionate. In their adoptive family, they had access to a small garden; a balcony would suffice for them. Zammis especially needs space. FIV+, FELV-, vaccinated, microchipped, sterilized. Zammis a surtout besoin d’espace. Testé FIV+, FELV-, vacciné, identifié, stérilisé Formulaire de demande d'adoption : Comment adopter à l'Ecole du chat ? 25/04/2026

About Leia

What life with Leia looks like

Leia is a small puppy/kitten cat waiting at 30 Millions d'Amis in Paris.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Leia, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Leia?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. 30 Millions d'Amis handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Leia on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Leia if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — 30 Millions d'Amis will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Leia already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Leia isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with 30 Millions d'Amis early rather than rehoming privately; they know Leia and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
