Lennon is around eight years old and did not arrive at the shelter in good condition. His skin was very inflamed, his ears were painful and infected, and he had almost no hair on a large part of his lower body. It is clear that he has not been cared for as he should have been. It has been several weeks since he arrived with us and therapy is slowly working its way. The inflammation has subsided, Lennon feels better and his condition today is incomparable to when he arrived. But we are far from the end. It takes time for the skin to fully recover, he still lacks hair on a large part of his body and he still has to recover. And while we are treating his body, we would also like to give him what medicine cannot give him - a home. Lennon is around eight years old and is a hunting dog. He prefers peace and his own space, which is why we would like to find a home for him where he would be the only dog. We are not looking for someone for whom Lennon will be the prettiest dog in the photo. We are looking for someone who will look a little further than the skin that lacks hair and the body that is still recovering. Because under all of this is a dog who still has a lot of life left. And it would be nice if after everything he has been through the rest of his life he gets to know what it's like when someone really cares about him.

Lennon ima oko osam godina i u azil nije stigao u dobrom stanju. Koža mu je bila jako upaljena, uši bolne i zahvaćene upalom, a na velikom dijelu donje polovice tijela gotovo uopće nije imao dlake. Iza njega očito nije razdoblje u kojem se o njemu brinulo onako kako je trebalo. Prošlo je nekoliko tjedana otkako je s nama i terapija polako radi svoje. Upale su se smirile, Lennon se osjeća bolje i njegovo je stanje danas neusporedivo s onim u kojem je stigao. Ali daleko smo još od kraja. Koži treba vremena da se potpuno oporavi, dlaka mu na velikom dijelu tijela još uvijek nedostaje i pred njim je još oporavka. A dok liječimo njegovo tijelo, voljeli bismo mu pronaći i ono što mu lijekovi ne mogu dati – dom. Lennon ima oko osam godina i pas je u tipu lovačkog psa. Više mu odgovara mir i svoj prostor, zbog čega bismo za njega voljeli pronaći dom u kojem bi bio jedini pas. Ne tražimo nekoga kome će Lennon biti najljepši pas na fotografiji. Tražimo nekoga tko će pogledati malo dalje od kože kojoj nedostaje dlaka i tijela koje se još oporavlja. Jer ispod svega toga je pas kojem je ostalo još puno života. I bilo bi lijepo da nakon svega što je prošao ostatak tog života sazna kako izgleda kada se netko zaista brine o njemu.
