I am around 4 years old and came to the animal shelter as an abandoned kitten. The reason was that I did not get along with a returnee cat in the household. I do not get along well with other cats and would prefer to remain an individual princess. I am a quiet, peaceful cat who knows exactly what she wants and what she does not. If something gets too much for me or I do not feel like it, I make this clear. With people who respect my signals, I am however a very pleasant and loving companion. I like to lie on the lap of the animal caretakers during quiet moments and enjoy the closeness. I imagine my new home on the sofa with a good book or the TV. Health-wise, I bring a few topics with me. My kidneys are not functioning as they should anymore, and they are currently only supported by special food. I also have a small heart murmur, but this is not yet treatable. Due to my long fur, I need some assistance with grooming. Both I and my human would benefit from grooming in small but regular sessions to avoid it becoming too much. I wish for a home suitable for apartment living with a secured balcony, with people who are quiet and respect my boundaries. We are looking forward to your interest in Lenny. Ich bin ca. 4 Jahre alt und kam als Abgabekatze ins Tierheim. Der Grund war, dass ich mich mit einer zurückgekehrten Katze im Haushalt nicht verstanden habe. Mit anderen Katzen verstehe ich mich nicht so gut uns würde daher gerne Einzelprinzessin bleiben. Ich bin eine ruhige, friedliche Katze, die ganz genau weiß was sie möchte und was nicht. Wenn mir etwas zu viel wird oder ich keine Lust habe, zeige ich dies klar. Mit Menschen die meine Signale respektieren, bin ich jedoch eine sehr angenehme und liebe Begleiterin. Gerne liege ich in ruhigen Momenten auf dem Schoß der Tierpfleger und genieße die Nähe. Dabei stelle ich mir mein neues Zuhause auf dem Sofa mit einem guten Buch oder dem Fernseher vor. Gesundheitlich bringe ich ein paar Themen mir. Denn meine Nieren fangen an nicht mehr so zu funktionieren, wie sie sollten. Diese werden gerade nur durch ein spezielles Futter unterstützt. Auch ein kleines Herzgeräusch bringe ich mir, dies ist aber noch nicht Behandlungswürdig. Durch mein langes Fell brauche ich etwas Unterstützung mit der Fellpflege. Auch hier mache ich bis zu einem gewissen Punkt mit und lasse mir das gefallen, am besten wäre es für Mensch und Katze die Fellpflege in kleinen aber regelmäßigen Einheiten zu gestalten, damit es nicht zu viel wird. Ich wünsche mir ein Zuhause in Wohnungshaltung mit gesichertem Balkon, bei Menschen die ruhig sind und meine Grenzen respektieren. Wir freuen uns, dass Sie sich für Lenny interessieren.
