About Lenus: - 3 years old - Labrador mix - Knows the commands: Sit, Place, Paw, and Stop - Reliably walks without a leash, as long as no other dogs are nearby - A very loyal and affectionate companion Important to know: Unfortunately, Lenus can no longer be left alone, so he is looking for people who have enough time for him. He would like to live as a single dog and be the "prince" of the house. Due to his pronounced food guarding, no other animal should live with him. A cat might be possible if the feeding areas are strictly separated and out of his reach. On the leash, he often reacts to other dogs by barking. Without a leash, however, he is friendly and tolerant. His tolerance ends when it comes to food, though, so special caution is required here. Special requirements: After being severely mistreated by a man, Lenus has difficulty interacting with men. We therefore prefer a home with a woman. A couple (woman and man) would also be conceivable, but we would prefer not to place him with a single man. A house with a garden would be ideal but is not a requirement, provided that sufficient exercise and activity are ensured. Aufgrund seines ausgeprägten Futterneids sollte kein weiteres Tier mit ihm zusammenleben. Eine Katze wäre eventuell möglich, wenn die Futterplätze strikt getrennt und für ihn nicht erreichbar sind.An der Leine reagiert er auf andere Hunde häufig mit Bellen. Ohne Leine zeigt er sich dagegen freundlich und verträglich. Allerdings hört seine Toleranz bei Futter auf – hier ist besondere Vorsicht geboten.Besondere Anforderungen: Nach einer schweren Misshandlung durch einen Mann hat Lenus Schwierigkeiten im Umgang mit Männern.
