Leo

Mixed Breed Cat Β· Male Β· Kitten

Luna & Leo are our playful pair who were found as strays and have been in foster since. They are now ready to start looking for their forever home! Luna is quite a cautious girl but can be stroked when she's distracted with food! She feels comfortable in places where she can hide. She loves her brother, Leo, they keep each other entertained for hours play fighting and chasing each other around the house and he gives her the confidence and encouragement she needs to come out of her shell. When she plays she is full of fun, confidence, self assured and happy. She likes sunbathing near windows on a soft blanket. Leo is very playful and curious but can also be very cautious with new people. He likes being hugged and stroked when he trusts you or distracted with food, he becomes a purring machine! He loves exploring and jumping onto high places. Due to their nerves they would prefer to live with children aged 12+ that are able to give them space when needed. They may also be able to live with another feline friend following a slow introduction. They will require outdoor access once old enough to start exploring!

About Leo

What life with Leo looks like

Leo is a kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at RSPCA Coventry and District Branch in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months β€” most shelters arrange this before adoption.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Leo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Leo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Coventry and District Branch handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Leo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Leo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” RSPCA Coventry and District Branch will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Leo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Leo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Coventry and District Branch early rather than rehoming privately; they know Leo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
