Leo und sein bester Freund Bruno wurden in der Innenstadt ausgesetzt. Die Straße wurde zu ihrem einzigen Zuhause – bis größere Hunde ihr Revier übernahmen. Die beiden wurden immer wieder gejagt, fanden kaum noch Futter oder Wasser und hatten keinen sicheren Platz zum Ausruhen. Sie verloren immer mehr Gewicht und Lebensfreude. Ich konnte nicht wegsehen und nahm sie bei mir auf, weil klar war, dass sie auf der Straße nicht überlebt hätten. Seit rund zwei Jahren sind sie in Sicherheit. Mit viel Zeit, Geduld und Liebe haben sie sich vollständig vom Hunger erholt und ihr Fell glänzt wieder. Leo hatte außerdem ein Cherry Eye, das erfolgreich operiert wurde.
