Qui suis-je ?Kiyou a été abandonné par son propriétaire suite à la nouvelle de la maladie. Il a contracté une maladie très grave : la PIF (Péritonite Infectieuse Féline). Cette maladie est due à un Coronavirus (même famille de virus que le COVID mais aucun risque pour l’Homme) naturellement présent dans l’intestin du chat mais qui peut subir dans certains cas une mutation et causer cette maladie. Les chatons et les jeunes chats ou les chats très âgés sont les plus touchés. Il existe plusieurs formes de PIF et Kia a une forme sèche et neurologique. Au début de la maladie Kiyou était paralysé des 4 pattes et avait une atteinte au niveau des yeux. Il ne pouvait pas se déplacer du tout, il fallait mettre la gamelle sous nez pour qu’il mange et boive mais il a toujours garder un peu d’appétit Sans traitement, 100% des chats décèdent de la PIF. Depuis quelques années un traitement efficace a été découvert et était disponible en Asie et aux États Unis mais ne possédait pas d’autorisation de m
