LEWIS arrived at our shelter following a removal for neglect, and was then transferred in the hope of finding him a family. He is a very affectionate and playful dog when he feels comfortable with the person, a true little love bug. However, LEWIS is wary of strangers, and it will take gentleness/time for him to trust you. Loulou was emaciated upon arrival at the shelter, so he has a great interest in his food. He will need his own space during meals to avoid being disturbed. On walks, he is generally independent, enjoying his time without pulling. Previously reactive to vehicles/other animals of the same species/..., but with training, he has made significant progress. However, he must not be allowed to regress. LEWIS shows great potential, needing a family that is present and willing to help him with his fears. He will not be placed with children or other animals.

Lewis est arrivé au refuge d’Arry à la suite d'un retrait pour maltraitance, il nous a ensuite été transféré dans l’espoir de lui trouver une famille. C'est un chien très affectueux et joueur quand il est à l'aise avec la personne, un vrai petit pot de colle. Lewis se montre cependant méfiant des personnes inconnues, il faudra de la douceur/du temps pour que celui-ci vous accorde sa confiance. Loulou était squelettique à son arrivé en refuge, il porte donc un grand intérêt à sa nourriture. Il faudra qu’il ait son coin sans passages pour ne pas être dérangé durant son repas. En promenade, celui-ci se montre plutôt indépendant, il profite, sans tirer. Anciennement réactif en extérieur, aux voitures/congénères/.., mais avec du travail, il a fait de beaux progrès. Il ne faudra cependant pas le laisser régresser. Lewis montre de belles choses, il a besoin d’une famille présente, prête a l’aider dans ses peurs. Il ne sera pas placé avec des enfants, ni avec d’autres animaux.
