Adopt Liam

Mixed Breed · Unknown

LITTLE KITTY LIAM. A very large kitten with special dietary needs, Liam, is looking for a home. Liam is a small-sized kitten born in October 2025, an active little cat who, when given the opportunity, doesn't hesitate to show off and then takes a few steps to stretch. He freely communicates with strangers and is generally a pleasant type. Or rather, if he catches a glimpse of something, he cleverly tries to sneak away and resists that action. Liam's eyes were injured when he was a very small baby, now fully healed, but perhaps slightly smaller than average. Liam is looking for a home where the family's daily routine would allow him to eat 3-4 times a day. His special dietary needs, which are a congenital enlarged esophagus, mean that Liam must eat food not from the floor but from a higher base so that he can eat while standing. Liam eats only pate or pureed meat. That's all, otherwise he's a normal loving kitten, but it's extremely important that he gets his food only as prescribed from a higher base. After eating and playing, he climbs onto your lap to clean himself and to stretch his tail as a thank you. If you feel that this little ball of fluff named Liam could become a full-fledged member of your family, please fill out the form and the foster home will contact you. Liam is currently living at the foster home in Tallinn with his mother Leonie.

VÄIKE VAPPER LIAM. Toitumusliku erivajadusega üliarmas nurrupall Liam otsib kodu.

About Liam

What life with Liam looks like

Liam is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at Pesaleidja MTÜ in Pesaleidja.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇪Adopting from Estonia

Frequently asked

Adopting Liam, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Liam?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Pesaleidja MTÜ handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Liam on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Liam if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Pesaleidja MTÜ will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Liam already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Liam isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Pesaleidja MTÜ early rather than rehoming privately; they know Liam and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ET). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
