Lili

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy

Bodeguero-Mix girl Lili is searching for her “forever home.” Little Lili was abandoned at our partner animal shelter in Spain for no apparent reason. This charming little dog embodies all the behaviors typical of a healthy puppy. Lili deserves to find HER “dog parents” as soon as possible. Lili deserves a loving, family-oriented environment and people who will reliably accompany her through every stage of her life. Therefore, we’re looking for a loving home for sweet Lili as soon as possible—a home that can meet the needs of a young puppy. Lili longs to be kept busy and trained. This little pup will want to try out many things and still need to learn to accept boundaries. With a caring companion by her side, this inexperienced puppy can grow into a wonderful and loyal lifelong friend. It would be lovely if Lili could share her future life with a canine buddy. If your heart is set on Lili and you already have an empty basket waiting for this little dog, we’d love to hear from you! Adopting a rescue dog always means taking on a special responsibility—and it can also be quite challenging. These dogs come with a backpack of past experiences or unlearned situations and will need time to adjust to their new life. If you’re fully aware of this special responsibility and are seriously interested in adopting Lili, please get in touch with the responsible adoption counselor. We’d also be delighted to receive offers of foster care. You’ll find the contact details below. Click here for Lili’s video—Video 2.

About Lili

What life with Lili looks like

Lili is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lili, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lili?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lili on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lili if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lili already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lili isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lili and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
