Liliomfi

Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 12 years

Liliomfi is a 10+ year old wonderful mixed breed male dog, with a terrible tumor that originated from the scrotum. He came from Miskolc-Pereces, this time also rescued by Jonny Wispo. Locals know him, because although he may have had an owner, he always roamed the streets. This horror has been growing on him for a long time. It hung as an inflamed and painful mass on the most sensitive part of his body. Naturally, he was immediately taken to the Csipet-Csapat Veterinary Center. There, he was examined and successfully underwent surgery to remove the tumor. He has overcome one difficulty, but also tested positive for heartworm, so he now begins another battle for full recovery. Old soul, who knows how many wounds he has received, but he gave us his trust. A calm and friendly old gentleman. He must find out what it's like to be loved, to have his own home.Liliomfi's condition allowed him to continue convalescing in the NOÉ hospital department. After his recovery, vaccinations and neutering, he can be adopted as a family member. For more information, see additional pictures HERE!

Liliomfi egy 10+ korú tüneményes keverék kan kutya, borzasztó daganattal, mely a pénisz tasakjából indul ki. Miskolc-Perecesről érkezett, ezúttal is a mentés Jonny Wispo indította. Természetesen Ő is egyből a Csipet-Csapat Állatgyógyászati Központba érkezett. About Liliomfi

What life with Liliomfi looks like

Liliomfi is a small senior mixed breed dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

Note from the shelter: Previously had tumor removal surgery, heartworm positive and undergoing treatment

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Liliomfi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Liliomfi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Liliomfi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Liliomfi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Liliomfi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Liliomfi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know Liliomfi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
