Adopt Lilly available

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 9 months

Look at me, look at me!!!! I'm the gorgeous Lilly!!I am a bouncy, young energetic girl who is ready to get going with life.....so who is joining me?I came into the centre as a stray, so the staff here are having to get to know me from scratch, but so far they have discovered that I am very friendly, super clever and great fun to be around. As with any dog my age I am still going to need lots of help with my training but I am extremely quick at picking up things and a real joy to work with. I can be a bit boisterous at times and I'm going to be a large sized dog when fully grown so will new owners and a new home that can cope with a big dog like me who is full of fun and energy.I have done really well when meeting other doggy pals so I think it would be great fun to live with another suitable dog, they may even be able to teach me a thing or two.I am super friendly so could possibly live with children as long as the parents have some experience of dogs or who are willing to take on the advice from the team here. I am going to need lots of time and patience to help settle me into my new home as I've haven't had the greatest start to life so far, but I honestly can't wait for a home to call my own xx Lilly xx NAWT Cornwall Wheal Alfred Kennels Wheal Alfred Road Hayle Cornwall TR27 5JT Choose an item from our Amazon wish-list and it will come straight to us! About Lilly available

What life with Lilly available looks like

Lilly available is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at National Animal Welfare Trust in Watford.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lilly available, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lilly available?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. National Animal Welfare Trust handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lilly available on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lilly available if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — National Animal Welfare Trust will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lilly available already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lilly available isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with National Animal Welfare Trust early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lilly available and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
