Lilly

Mixed Breed Cat Β· Female Β· Young Β· 2 years

🐾 Meet lovely Lilly 🐾 Looking for a lap warmer, cuddle companion and professional fuss enthusiast? Lilly might just be your girl! πŸ₯° Lilly came to RSPCA Bluebell Ridge after her owner was sadly no longer able to care for her, and she’s now ready to find a loving forever home. This stunning smokey black and white girl can be a little timid when she first meets you, but give her a little time to settle and her sweet personality soon shines through. ❀️ Once Lilly knows she’s safe, she absolutely adores attention. She loves a good fuss, enjoys snuggling up and is more than happy to make herself comfortable on your lap while soaking up all the love. πŸ₯ΉπŸ± Lilly really is a sweetheart who just needs someone to give her the chance to settle in and show them how affectionate she can be. 🏑 Could you offer lovely Lilly the forever home β€” and lap β€” she’s been waiting for? About Lilly

What life with Lilly looks like

Lilly is a young adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at RSPCA Brighton & The Heart of Sussex in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction β€” every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lilly, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lilly?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Brighton & The Heart of Sussex handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lilly on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lilly if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” RSPCA Brighton & The Heart of Sussex will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lilly already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lilly isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Brighton & The Heart of Sussex early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lilly and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
