Update: Linda passed away on January 15, 2021, due to the effects of a spleen tumor and its operation. Linda had seen so many dog friends leave over time, but unfortunately, she never found the right people. Here with us was her home. We will always carry her in our hearts. Linda the Blessed One—her tail never stops wagging for even a second. Dalmatian mix, born around 2010/2011, neutered. In our shelter since Christmas 2012. Linda came to us from Romania two days before Christmas 2012. A very dedicated Wertheimer in foreign animal welfare asked us for help and wondered if we could take in ONE dog from a Romanian our shelter, as the next big wave of killings was impending. In no time, one dog turned into THREE, and with Linda, it quickly became FOUR! Linda wasn't on the killing list like Timmy, Bourbon, and Adam for New Year's Eve. We came to her almost by chance, because just one day before the transport, it turned out that Linda could not move in with her new adoptive family here in Germany after all. Linda had already been taken out of the city our shelter. Now where to with her? Time was pressing, and there was no home for her anywhere nearby. Back to the Romanian our shelter? That would have been her death! So, a few hours before the transport, we decided to take her in as well. Linda is an ENERGY BOMB—always in action! She is looking for a home with experienced dog people who can handle her very strong protective instinct. Update: Linda ist am 15.01.2021 an den Folgen eines Milztumores und dessen Operation gestorben. Linda hatte soviel Hundefreunde im Laufe der Zeit gehen sehen, aber für sie fanden sich leider nie die passenden Menschen. Hier bei uns war ihr Zuhause. Wir werden sie immer in unserem Herzen tragen. Linda die Glückseelige Ihr Schwänzchen hält keine Sekunde still. Dalmatiner-Mix, geb. ca. 2010/2011, kastriert. Im TH. seit Weihnachten 2012 Linda kam zwei Tage vor Weihnachten 2012 aus Rumänien zu uns. Eine im Auslandstierschutz sehr engagierte Wertheimerin bat uns um Hilfe und fragte, ob wir EINEN Hund aus einem rumänischen Tierheim aufnehmen könnten, da die nächste große Tötungswelle bevor stand. Im Nu wurden aus einem Hund DREI und mit Linda ganz schnell VIER! Linda stand nicht wie Timmy, Bourbon und Adam zu Silvester auf der Tötungsliste. Zu ihr kamen wir quasi wie die Jungfrau zum Kind, denn einen Tag vor dem Transport stellte sich heraus, dass Linda nun doch nicht bei ihrer neuen Adoptivfamilie hier in Deutschland einziehen könne. Linda war da aber bereits aus dem städtischen Tierheim geholt worden. Jetzt wohin mit ihr? Die Zeit drängte und weit und breit kein Zuhause für sie. Zurück ins rumänische Tierheim? – Das wäre auch ihr Tod gewesen! Nun, so entschieden wir uns, ein paar Stunden vor dem Transport, auch sie zu uns zu nehmen. Linda ist eine ENERGIEBOMBE – immer in Aktion! Sie sucht ein Zuhause bei hundeerfahrenen Menschen, die mit ihrem sehr ausgeprägtem Schutztrieb umgehen können.
