Meet Lio: A sporty teenager with a heart of gold! Sometimes life just doesn't go your way. The handsome Lio is only one year old, but unfortunately has already had some bad luck. In July 2025 he came to us at the age of five months because his owner could no longer take care of him. He quickly found a nice place in a family, but due to a breakup he now has to look for a 'forever home' again. Who is Lio? Lio is extremely social and active teen. He loves people and generally gets along well with other dogs during walks. Sometimes he looks at the cat from the tree (small or dark dogs sometimes seem a bit exciting to him), but then he chooses to keep a quiet distance. He is a real working dog that needs challenges. Training together? Great! Obstacles and hurdles? Fantastic! Lio is a natural talent in dog sports. His ideal home Lio is looking for an active owner who understands what a (herding) type teen needs. Cats: He can live with cats that are used to dogs. He really enjoys chasing them once in a while, so the cat shouldn't be easily impressed. Other dogs: We do not place Lio with other dogs in the same household. Alone at home: After getting used to it, Lio can be alone for a few hours, but he is definitely not a dog to leave alone all day. Outside: If he has a bond with you, he can walk off well. He is also a clean passenger in the car. Living situation: A house with a garden is definitely preferred; he has been used to it since a young age. Honesty lasts longest Lio is a great dog, but he has one important lesson to learn: separation anxiety. He has been uncertain about his resources (food and resting place) since a young age. With patience, respect for his space and the right guidance, this can be very well managed. He simply has to be able to trust that no one will take his food. Because of this uncertainty, we do not place Lio with young children. In juli 2025 kwam hij als pup van 5 maanden bij ons binnen omdat zijn eigenaar niet meer voor hem kon zorgen. Hij vond al snel een fijn plekje bij een gezin, maar door een relatiebreuk moet hij nu opnieuw op zoek naar een ‘forever home’.Wie is Lio?Lio is een ontzettend sociale en actieve puber. Hij is dol op mensen en kan het ook buiten tijdens het wandelen over het algemeen goed vinden met andere honden. Soms kijkt hij even de kat uit de boom (kleine of donkere honden vindt hij soms een beetje spannend), maar hij kiest er dan voor om rustig afstand te nemen.Het is een echte werkhond die uitdaging nodig heeft. Samen trainen? Graag! Hindernissen en obstakels? Fantastisch!
