Lisa

Female · Puppy · 7 months

Hello everyone! 🐾 Let me introduce myself: my name is Lisa, I am a very sweet Malinois-type puppy girl, born in April 2026, with an expected adult weight of around 25 kg. Until recently, I lived in a forest with my four siblings. A kind woman took care of us and brought us food, but sadly she was never able to find homes for us. We lived under simple sheet-metal shelters and had never experienced the warmth and security of a real family. Now I have finally been rescued, vaccinated, and microchipped, and I am ready to start a new life. I am a very sweet little girl, extremely affectionate, and I long for all the love and attention I have missed out on so far. I am looking for a family who will welcome me with love and finally show me how wonderful it is to grow up safe, protected, and cared for. 🩷 I am currently in Italy, but for the right adoption I can travel anywhere in Europe and to the United Kingdom within two to three weeks. 🐶 If you would like to give me a chance, I am waiting here for you. 👉 I am vaccinated and have tested negative for Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, Dirofilaria, Brucellosis and Leishmania. 👉 Adoption subject to a home check, adoption contract, and adoption fee (RBU included). 📝 Foster/adoption form: 📞 🇮🇹 Chiara (WhatsApp) – 🇬🇧 Chiara (WhatsApp only) – 🇩🇪 Sabrina (WhatsApp)

About Lisa

What life with Lisa looks like

Lisa is a medium-sized puppy dog waiting at Furry Rescue Italy in Nazionale.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇮🇹Adopting from Italy

Italian canili require adopters to sign a stewardship contract (affido) and may retain the right to verify the animal's wellbeing post-adoption. Animals are chipped and sterilized before leaving (Legge 281/91). Public canili rifugio typically waive adoption fees.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lisa, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lisa?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Furry Rescue Italy handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lisa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lisa if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Furry Rescue Italy will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Lisa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lisa isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Furry Rescue Italy early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lisa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
