Lisa

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 4 months

mixed breed (Jack Russell) will be neutered and rehomed with a foster family in Vukovar/Kroatien Lisa – friendly Jack Russell mix female dog seeks a loving home Lisa did not have an easy start in life. Likely born to a high-strung mother, she was probably abandoned and brought seven puppies into the world on Christmas day in an abandoned house. Fortunately, animal welfare workers became aware of the small family in time and were able to bring them to safety – without their help, Lisa and her puppies likely would not have survived for long. Now, Lisa lives with a loving foster family and shows what a wonderful female dog she is. She is a very people-oriented, friendly, and open female dog who enjoys every bit of attention. She especially loves snuggling and is very grateful for every affection. Lisa gets along well with other dogs – as long as her puppies are not around. Then she shows her strong protective instinct and barks to defend her little ones. Cats do not belong in her circle of friends. Lisa loves children very much and greets them openly and friendly. As a Jack Russell mix, Lisa also brings a good dose of energy. She is lively, learns quickly, and has great fun with walks, playing, and running. Therefore, she is looking for an active home where she is physically and mentally challenged and at the same time receives lots of cuddles. For Lisa, we wish for loving people who can show her how wonderful a home can be – with patience, time, and a lot of heart. Who will give this brave mother a new home full of security? Lisa travels neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport. All our dogs travel vaccinated and microchipped with an EU pet passport. They are only sent after a positive assessment. For more information about fostering, patrolling, or adopting, please click here: I am interested. This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Mischling (Jack Russell) wird kastriert vermittelt Pflegefamilie in Vukovar/ Kroatien Lisa – freundliche Jack-Russell-Mix-Hündin sucht liebevolles Zuhause Lisa hatte keinen einfachen Start ins Leben. About Lisa

What life with Lisa looks like

Lisa is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tierhilfe Pfotentraum Chance auf Leben e.V. in Linden.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lisa, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lisa?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierhilfe Pfotentraum Chance auf Leben e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lisa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lisa if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierhilfe Pfotentraum Chance auf Leben e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lisa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lisa isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierhilfe Pfotentraum Chance auf Leben e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lisa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
