Litchi

Male · Kitten · 3 months

Neutered. Vaccinated for Typhus and cat flu. FIV (AIDS) positive and FeLV (Leukemia) negative. Health: In top form!! Hello, my name is Litchi! Like a fruit, I have a small shell at the start: I can appear reserved, and when I arrive in a new place, I often prefer to hide a little while I observe and feel safe. But with some gentleness and patience, I quickly come out of my hiding spot… and there, you discover a real concentrate of tenderness, curiosity, and energy! I love following my humans everywhere, welcoming them at the door when they come in, and playing non-stop: running, chasing, leaping… I am lively, curious, and full of energy! I need space, play, attention, and ideally an outdoor access to explore safely. But don’t be fooled: I’m not just an adventurer! I love tender moments, coming to snuggle against you, gently rubbing for some scratches, or stretching out to enjoy a cuddle. And for my naps… let’s say I’m not afraid of originality! You might find me sleeping in the sink or stretched out on the couch. Anything goes for a nap! On the cleanliness front, nothing to complain about: my litter box is always impeccable, my little well-mannered cat side. Oh, I forgot, I’m a carrier of FIV, but that doesn’t prevent me from leading a perfectly normal and happy life. It simply means that I will be the only feline in the home, so I will be the undisputed master of your abode (my kingdom, of course!)—and between us, it suits me perfectly! If you’re looking for a tender, playful, and endearing companion, a sweet little fruit with a tender heart, I’m the one you need! Adoptable in Île de France under an adoption contract at our shelter, the Regroupement des Chats Perdus, 91330 YERRES. A contribution to veterinary expenses will be requested upon adoption, along with an ID card in the name of the adopter and a recent proof of residence. Payment is made by check or cash. About Litchi

What life with Litchi looks like

Litchi is a small puppy/kitten cat waiting at 30 Millions d'Amis in Paris.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Litchi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Litchi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. 30 Millions d'Amis handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Litchi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Litchi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — 30 Millions d'Amis will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Litchi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Litchi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with 30 Millions d'Amis early rather than rehoming privately; they know Litchi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
