Lizzy is a beautiful tortoiseshell cat, 10 years old. Her owner moved in with a partner, and Lizzy had to get used to living with other cats. Since Lizzy was accustomed to going outside, she could easily avoid those housemates. She only came home to eat. Her (former) owner wishes Lizzy a home where she’ll feel completely at ease. That’s why Lizzy is now with the Animal’s Faith foundation, waiting and looking for a new home. Lizzy mostly stays in the outdoor enclosure. It’s not entirely clear whether she prefers staying there because she finds it scary to go inside—and that way she can avoid most of the other cats—or if it’s simply because the outdoor area offers her the best chance to escape the other felines. After all, outside, Simba and Balou, as well as Vivilion, are often calmly and relaxed, enjoying themselves. But inside, most of the other cats are just sleeping, so Lizzy doesn’t need to be afraid of them either. Clearly, Lizzy doesn’t feel comfortable at all. Hopefully, she’ll find a new home for herself very soon—preferably one with a secure garden. Lizzy is een mooi schildpadkatje van 10 jaar. Haar baasje ging samenwonen en toen moest Lizzy wennen aan andere katten. Omdat Lizzy gewend was om naar buiten te gaan, kon ze die huisgenoten gemakkelijk ontlopen. Ze kwam alleen thuis om te eten. Haar (voormalig) baasje wenst Lizzy een thuis waar ze zich op haar gemak voelt. Daarom is Lizzy nu bij stichting Animal’s Faith. Wachtend en op zoek naar een nieuw thuis. Lizzy zit voornamelijk in de buitenren. Of ze daar verblijft omdat ze het eng vindt om naar binnen te gaan en omdat ze dan de meeste katten kan ontlopen, is niet helemaal duidelijk. Want buiten zijn vaak Simba en Balou en ook Vivilion, wel rustig en relaxed van buiten aan het genieten. Maar binnen liggen de meeste katjes gewoon te slapen, dus daar hoeft Lizzy ook niet bang van te zijn. Lizzy voelt zich duidelijk niet op haar gemak. Hopelijk vindt ze héél snel een nieuw thuis voor haar alleen, liefst wel met een beschermde tuin.
