LLORON

European Shorthair · Male · Young · 3 years

We present to you our kitty Llorón, because when he arrived at our area, he was crying all day until someone picked him up. He suffered so much that he got very sick and had to be kept separate from other cats to recover and lower his stress level. We managed to help him recover with lots of love and care, and we don't want him to suffer again in the life he has to live in the animal rescue association. Llorón is a very affectionate and cuddly kitty looking for a home.

About LLORON

What life with LLORON looks like

LLORON is a young adult european shorthair cat waiting at Con Alma Protectora in Spain.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting LLORON, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about LLORON?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Con Alma Protectora handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw LLORON on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt LLORON if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Con Alma Protectora will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is LLORON already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if LLORON isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Con Alma Protectora early rather than rehoming privately; they know LLORON and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
