Łobuz

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 9 months

Is staying in Radom. Sad story of Lobo... This is the fate that humans have prepared for him. A few months ago we got a call that a little puppy was on the street. It turned out that he had already ended up again in so-called "good hands". The owner was found, who had previously also taken him from such a surrender and assured that the dog would stay with them forever. However, within a month it changed. He called saying he asked for help in finding a home, after which the contact was broken. After a few months he called again, saying he found a home for the dog, where he stayed for two months, but they still didn't want him... and he couldn't take him because he was leaving abroad... This time we did not allow the dog to end up in inappropriate hands. He had already gone through too much for a puppy who within a few months was passed from hand to hand four times (we know about such numbers). Meet him and ask for a home... 🆘🆘🆘 The worst thing is that he's already been there... As soon as he arrived at the animal shelter, he was terrified. He hid in a corner behind a shed, and the kennel remained clean for a long time, the bowls were full - he didn't eat, didn't drink, didn't go to the bathroom. Finally, we managed to convince him to come out of the corner, suddenly he realized that it wasn't all that bad. He started eating, drinking, even got to know the shelter's doghouse, where he spends the nights. The person proved not to be so bad, although Łobuz definitely chooses whom he likes, most strangers are afraid, but it's easy to convince him. The greatest joy is playing, he is an energy volcano, it's hard to tire him 😉 He loves volunteers who spend time with him, he is extremely happy to see them, however, he is not gentle. He needs time and above all a lot of work. We are looking for a Family that will take on the challenge, and Łobuz will become its truly loved member. ❤️ Only as a single dog! Age about 9 months. Vaccinated, microchipped.

Przebywa w Radomiu. Poznajemy Go i prosimy o Dom… Potrzebuje czasu i przede wszystkim dużo pracy. Zaszczepiony, zaczipowany. KASIA 507 237 447OLA 533 564 074KLAUDIA 609 530 953

About Łobuz

What life with Łobuz looks like

Łobuz is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko Radom in Radom.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Łobuz, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Łobuz?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Radom handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Łobuz on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Łobuz if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Radom will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Łobuz already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Łobuz isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Radom early rather than rehoming privately; they know Łobuz and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
